How I became a Digg Power User with a 75% popular ratio E-mail

How I became a Digg Power User with a 75% popular ratio, completely legitimately, and got banned for it.

*update* I've been getting a lot of questions asking for more details about how to do this.  I'll create another article with additional tips sometime this week.. I'll post it here so check the homepage early this week.

Hello, I am TheDataWhore, and I am a banned Digg power user.

I hope this article can help those normal diggers understand just how it is the power users got that way, and why digg is not a democracy.  I know this isn't going to be a huge revelation to many of you, but I thought it was important to share my experience.  After all, I invested quite a bit of time into digg and would atleast like that to benefit others since I'm no longer on digg.

The Five Best and Worst Web 2.0 Sites E-mail

This article lists the best and worst web 2.0 sites.   I tried to pull away as best I could from the general consensus, and include some sites that less frequently appear in these types of lists whereever possible.   Web 2.0 is a loosely defined term, so where the relationship between the site and web 2.0 was fuzzy I tried to explain my reasoning below.   I know I forgot quite a few sites, but I limited myself to five, so that is inevitable.    Enjoy :)

A Developer's Dilemma: Profit vs. Progress E-mail

As a kid when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always answered 'rich'.  It seemed logical, since the people that I was supposed to look up to all had one thing in common, they were rich (or at least richer than I was).   So upon finding out that the richest man in the world got that way by developing software, my career path was set, especially since I had already fallen in love with computers by that age.   I'm sure I'm not alone in that story, but that is how I got into this business.

What does this have to do with the article?  Well, this article is about the series of choices a successful site owner must face.  So whether you already own a successful website, or some hope to someday, stick around as I hope that some of the choices I was faced with can help you.
